Bitter

A lover’s heart is laid

to rest – eyes are torn

from the mind as a

wooden house fragments

and then splinters…

There is a bruise on the

naked floor, here is where

a mouth used to be…
spewing bitterness from an

open wound – where hordes

gather to step on a face.
